WOMEN IN BUSINESS IN AFRICA

Introduction

The South African Journal of Business Management (SAJBM) has been disseminating research that has real significance for management and leadership theory and practice. The focus of the journal falls into two categories within the business environment, namely managerial and leadership theory and management and leadership practice.

The outbreak of the virus that causes COVID 19, and the relating measures put in place to contain the epidemic have placed constraints on researchers to finalise their submissions in time for the previous deadline of 30 June 2020. We are, therefore providing a 4 month extension to assist authors in completing and submitting their manuscripts towards the themed collection.

Extended submission due date
30 October 2020

Submission Procedure

Prospective authors should note that only original and previously unpublished article manuscripts will be considered for peer review. Interested authors must consult the Journal Guidelines for Manuscript Submission at https://sajbm.org/index.php/sajbm/pages/view/submission-guidelines#part_1 before submission.

For more details on the editorial procedures, go to https://sajbm.org/index.php/sajbm/pages/view/publication-procedure. All submissions will be submitted to a rigorous double-blind peer review process, with both the Guest Editors acting as action editors and making the final decision for publication in consultation with the Journal Editor.

Manuscripts must conform to the Journal’s formatting and style requirements and may take the form of original theoretical, empirical, applied and policy submissions (4500-7000 words in length excluding the title, abstract, references, figures and tables).

To submit your article for the special section, go to https://sajbm.org.

When you submit the article, select the “Original Research – Women in business in Africa”. The submission portal will be accessible on https://sajbm.org. All submitted papers will be reviewed on a double-blind, peer review basis. Papers must follow the APA style for reference citations.
