The Alliance for Organizational Psychology started a global initiative in 2020 called “The Big Tent”. The Alliance was founded by major professional associations in the field of work and organizational psychology (SIOP, EAWOP, IAAP Division 1, CSIOP) to increase the visibility and relevance of work and organizational psychology worldwide in an effort to improve the quality of working life for everyone. Increasing collaboration among all national associations representing work and organizational psychology is a crucial prerequisite towards achieving this goal. 

To that end, the Alliance has identified a set of organizations around the globe that share similar values around the science and practice of work and organizational psychology, to become “Network Partners”. Network Partners will form a broader community of like-minded organizations doing similar work. Together, Network Partners will share updated information about their major priorities/activities, with the goal of increasing communication among like organizations and facilitating our collective efforts around work and organizational psychology.

Our hope is to bring everyone around the globe to a virtual table in a virtual “big tent”, facilitating understanding, communication, and eventually joint activities.
