The 22nd Annual SIOPSA Conference and the way forward
The new year has started with an unrelenting pace, and we are already in March! However, 2020 has also brought about a global outbreak of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, which as you are no doubt aware, was declared a global pandemic by the WHO recently. The ensuing measures taken by many countries and South Africa have made the immediate future a very uncertain one indeed. Against this backdrop, SIOPSA recognizes that it has a commitment to the SIOPSA community in the form of the 22nd Annual SIOPSA conference.

In line with the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa, Sunday 15 March 2020, with regards to COVID-19 and limiting public interaction, SIOPSA management have decided to postpone all events scheduled for the month of March 2020.
